View Full Version : Problems with Star Wars: Empire at War

Error: Original disc could not be found or authenticated.
Everytime i click Play on my Star Wars: Empire at War game it brings that error up. I'm using my backup version of the game which is on two CD-R's. It tells me to insert Disc 1 in order to play i do that then it brings up that error messege. I use a virtual drive/emulator for it and it says that theyre running and to close them down.
Any way to fix this? I'd really appreciate it.
Programs i've tried
Daemon Tools
BlindWrite
GameJackal

Turn Off Daemon Tools v4 or Alcohol 120 if you have them on. Use original disc insted of patch.
P.S. Don't bump.  :p

Hey if you could, could you PM me or email me if you find a nocd fix? I'd appreciate it.
I have mine working with DT 4.03 and CureRom 1.3.0b
Use "Securom loader " if curerom doesn't work for you (which was my case)
You can find it at daemon's home. Not sure if it's available at gamecopyworld.
I've downloaded CureRom. How do i set it up? I have daemon tools and alcohol 120% if that helps, but it asks me to find a SecuROM 7/SafeDisc 4 application. What do i look for?

If you have the original CD, disc 1, there should be no problem. If you are trying to play it on more than 1 pc, shame on you.............
Use CureROM v1.3.1 (19-02-2006) as it fixes some bugs that causes windows to sometimes restart and other things.
