Hi All
I want to get a kvm switch that will work with a wireless keyboard (Logitech) and mouse. I had one (cheap £15) that worked fine on my ps2 pcs but I got a new pc to replace one of them and it only has usb for keyboard and mouse, so I bought an adapter to convert my ps2 cables to usb but the usb pc doesn't find the wireless keyboard and the mouse just jumps all over the place. D-Link do one that has both ps2 and usb - but they do not answer my email enquiries - as it is about £50 I don't want to just buy it. So if anyone knows of a kvm switch that will work with my setup then please let me know.

A wireless KVM switch, hmmmmm

Belkin do a ps2/usb one, where you can hook up the receiver to the actual KVM switch.

Ive never seen a KVM switch that only does wireless.

Ive treid a couple kvm's with my MS wireless intellimouse explorer 2.0, and none have worked. I just use it for the main box, and a seperate mouse hooked to the kvm for all the others.

Weird... My KVM has no problems with my wireless mouse. (Didn't bother to buy a wireless keyboard yet). The mouse is a USB-based one, with a USB-to-PS2 converter which is needed to plug it into the KVM, and the KVM is plugged into the PS2 mouse port rather than a USB port. (Unfortunately, through the KVM, the receiver of the mouse doesn't get enough power to also act as a charger for the mouse's accumulator set. :()

Sorry, don't remember the exact brand and type of the KVM or the mouse. (Have them at home, while having Net access at work only...) If you really wanna know, contact me (preferably, via E-mail).

Thanx Guys for the replys - sorry i've been away on business and couldn't get to pc.

DABhand:- It's not a wireless kvm switch i'm looking for (doesn't exist) it's the hook up receiver one which doesn't work.

Looks like i'll have to stick to wired keyboard and mouse.
