View Full Version : MM, Can You Help Me Now With My F.E.A.R. Game BACKUP?

My FEAR game disk is scratched but I had made a backup before, just that I cant play, says that the original disk couldnt be found or isnt validated, of course its because its a backup, but I dont wanna buy the game again (directors cut edition!), im poor... >.< I've been looking on internet for how to play FEAR with a backup disk of the original, all i've found is about some anti-blaxx program, this link says something about it:

This link explains what programs to download etc, but it doesnt say how to use it. example:

Play Instructions:
Install the game - Full Installation.
Use an anti-blacklisting tool, SR7.Stop or AntiBlah, to avoid SecuROM v7 from blacklisting DAEMON Tools.
Mount the FEAR-MINI.MDS DVD-Image in DAEMON Tools v4.00.
Play the Game!

dont know how to use it. I'm just too lost and desperate to play again:( !!, If anyone could help me, its super appreciated thanks a lot!:D

Nothing in that post is breaking the rules. But I have one thing to say - READ. It is a very uncomplicated thing to apply cracks. If you can't handle it, don't use it. I mean REALLY uncomplicated. Copy specific files to specific directories. That's a very detailed generic description.

Read through the whole FAQ and try again. If you don't understand something, come back with specific questions (not general ones!). [Edit] Also, contact the publisher for a replacement.

However, without a working original CD/DVD of the game, you're not eligible to ask for any help on this forum. A backup without an original is considered to be "warez", which is against the forum rules. Please, contact the publisher and ask for a replacement DVD. When you're done, get back to us.
