hey, im currently a grad student at GW university
i set my outlook to take the gw mail
i can receive emails from anywhere, but i can, for some reason, only send emails to gwu e-mails. anything else gives me a message from "System Administrator" with error message "550 #5.1.0 Address rejected."
can someone please help?

See if you have checked a boxed named "server demans authentication" (or whatever it could be named in the english version of outlook).

That will also require you to supply a username and a password to send email through the server.

Yah, check it. My university is the same. They block outgoing mail ports from any unauthorized users. You probably need to give a username/pass.

You should also know that my Office/Work blocks all outgoing mail interaction except their own as well. There is no way for me to send messages from my ISP address. So, it might not work either way.
