Without too much effort you can bring a SF DVD image down to 2/5-3/5 of original size with Windows compression (there are many identical dummy files on SF media anyway), but not to some MB or even KB; and such a image won't start everytime. The reason for this is that ISO check is changing all the time.
Look at THIS (http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=68043) thread; with some Bushound logs you may find a big gap (in the first 1/4) which sectors are almost never included in ISO check. Such image will be authenticated most times.

Or you couldnt get it working due to your system..

Dont assume things arent tested...or crap.

Does your game work ok with the original in?

I can pay POP3 fine, infact im playing it right now. Problem is I need more disk space and I cant afford to loose about a gig or so just to keep an image of the dvd. And the GCW imgae does not work. Not even Alcohol or Daemon tools can recorgnize it and causes those software to get an error

My version of PoP-TTT has identical dummy sectors from 677649 to 1906448 (2176480 overall), so you can calculate yourself how much HDD you will save just by activating Windows compression on your full image ;)

I have the full image on my HDD right now, not a Maxi-image.

@I_Will_Never_Die
Every SF DVD title MUST have a certain size and therefore (more or less) dummy files, so that the physical check (not the ISO check) can be performed as it's meant to be. Watch your sectors in Isobuster or Alcohol's CD/DVD Manager. You will find a huge range filled with '4141', as i mentioned more than half the DVD.
So just Activate Windows compression for your main image file (rightclick on the folder/file and select Properties->Advanced button, then check the box beside "Compress contents to save disc space"); then your image will use "only" ~2GB HDD space.
