A no-CD patch and/or mini images and/or some utilities. What, where, how? Read the FAQ.

The GCW-site says the protection of "GT Legends" is "Unknown!", but as most people know, it has "StarForce 3" as copy protection and there is no mini-/maxi-image and also no NO-DVD crack/patch or someting like this, yet!

There are only two trainers available at GCW (http://m0004.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_gt_legends.shtml) / MegaGames (http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/917070_0.htm) !

For me it work with the new Daemon tool 4.03 and Starforce Nightmare

First, install the game (mounted with daemon4.03 all emulation OFF), with the image mounted, launch starforce Nightmare and clic Disable ATA, launch the game and it work (for me)

Here is my config :

A7n8x Deluxe - AMD xp 2500 - 512 Mo (dual channel) - an old TI4200 -
2 SATA 80Go Raid 0 - 1 DVD Burner

Work with KingKong too

Errr, I think this is the old "mount the image from a network drive" trick. And, if I'm not mistaken, it works just as well as the "mount the image from a USB drive" and "put the copied CD/DVD into a USB CD/DVD-ROM" tricks.

What is important is that you don't use IDE devices for mounting images or putting copied CD's/DVD's into as Starforce easily finds that out!

SO YOU ARE SAYING THAT IF LETS SAY, I INSTALL GT LEGENDS FROM MY 6GB IPOD, WOULD IT WORK ? .

First, don't shout! Second, I've never seen an iPod (no, thank you, not interested at all in any Apple product!) so I don't know what cables it has. If it's USB-based then, yes, mount the image from the iPod, remove all IDE drives (!!!) and (install and) play.

I feel like a bit of a traitor to the anti-Starforce movement, as I purchased this game yesterday. I'm sorry, but it was under $20 at Best Buy, so I had no choice. It's also painfully obvious that Starforce is not going to go away, barring a legal ruling, so I'm going to set up a seperate harddrive, harddrive-boot-switch and use a crappy old USB CD-Rom drive (if it works) and play Starforce games on that, with no risk to any expensive equipment.

I've never got the game to work, even from a full install from the original, store-bought CD's. The game crashes when I click on "drive" and numerous mails to the support address are just completely ignored.

I tried making images of the three CD's using 120 (just to see if it might miraculously work this way), but the Starforce key wouldn't authenticate. I assume that my CD cant make an accurate enough representation.

If anyone has an image of the first disc, that works, let me know.

This'll teach me to buy a Starforce protected game, even if it was only 20 bucks. Never again.....well, unless someone has released a cleaned up version.

Hi there!

With me GT Legends (ITWINS Release) works.
I mounted the image with Daemon Tools 4.03HE version.
I selected all options off, installed the game and disconnected the ide cable from my DVD/CD drive.
Then reboot and that's all.
