I thought up an improvement over the disclaimer there at the games section
"Keep in mind that the files listed on this page"...


We offer no possibility to circumvent the protection from playing without a CD-Key.
The law allows one backup copy for private use, and we only help them by creating no-cds.
To almost everyone can it happen that a cd goes broken, how else should they burn a backup-copy?


With this new disclaimer you will not suffer from anyone, who is offering CD-Keys and claiming the same as you.

Private server patches do exactly this and GCW offers a few of those. ON the other hand, requesting and publishing CD-keys/serials has always been explicitly prohibited by the forum rules.
