EDIT: i think it will work. i scanned the file with kaspersky pro (extended database) and its clean.. And in the rar file, there is an .nfo file seems real... If its a fake, its really a GOOD fake..:D (i couldnt tried it because game isnt installed on my pc.. If it work, i'll install it back..) :D

is this from the iso or is this an additional one?

Crack from Iso has an additional CD check after Securom Protection which comes up when you start a quick race. So Inserting CD is still required.

edit: it's the one from the iso with additional cd check ;)

Typical! I spent some time to remove the CD Check from the Reloaded crack only to find out it's a BAD CRACK.

Start a Grand Prix and choose a rider, it's slow to choose. Start a Practice race and it just has LOADING on the screen and seems to have got stuck. Other people on NFOrce boards have complained of this too so it's not just me, it seems to be the crack :(

All other options seem OK like Quick Race, Time Trials and Tutorials but Career mode seems knackered!!

Tried with my NoCD, Reloaded's crack + Original CD and still the same problem with Career mode.

Think it needs a crackfix :eek:

damn, the reloaded release has been nuked, because of bad crack. i guess, i will have to keep using my original cd for just a little bit longer (i suppose, a crackfix will be out soon).

That'll teach me to try the crack first, then if it appears good I can waste me time trying to remove the CD Check.

Hope a crackfix does get released, remember DEViANCE with cracked patches for Pariah 1.03 and Pacific Assault v1.2, neither cracks worked and none got 'crackfixed' :eek:

Yep, grabbed it and it works in Career mode :)

Applied my NoCD to the crackfix and seems to be working, doesn't ask for the CD during the game. The RELOADED crack on GCW is NOT a NoCD, just a Fixed EXE as I tried it and it still asks for the Disk during the game, at least it does for me.

Anyway, if you Hexedit the crackfix change bytes at address:

0x0002BBC2 from 0F8E to 90E9

CD Check is history, I hope :)

I've also sent a small patch to GCW that you can apply to the crackfix to make it NoCD.

I've done as you explained but it loops indefinitely to the "Loading Screen"....
I've also try to edit the CD-rom drive letter (in the registry) "CDPath"="X:" to various drive letter....
it works only if you put "any" CD-rom in the drive.... if you change the "CDPath"="X:" to an HDD drive/directory sometimes it pass the check sometimes not.... naturally the RELOADED Fixed EXE worked for me, mounting my original image (so I don't think it's my fault)

I've found a solution making this reg patch:

now it takes a little while before the game goes on (when there's a CD-check)
but no more than 10 seconds.... and it works
it's not elegant but it's a solution at least for me

I used to play this without any nocd's doing the reg path above, just made it change from rom i used to install to the daemon letter, cant really remember as it was long ago.

Hmm This fix is still burgered, how can i patch iso, i got legit cd not a warez iso, and i aint gonna bother to make one, it says you can patch iso or use new .exe, well i opted to use the new inc .exe and its still broken, bike is on start line and about to move off when it says insert CD.

I prob will just so it way i used to months ago, i only want to do the extreme races i aint into the racetracks.

@EXECUTOR: Are you using the RELOADED crackfix? The looping problem is with the initial crack from RELOADED not the crackfix. The crackfix with my NoCD hack is working 100% for me.

You can also try using the original crackfix and this NoCD method:

1. Edit the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\MotoGP3
2. Locate the CDPath and InstallPath strings, edit InstallPath and 'copy' the data, edit this data into the CDpath string so it's the same as the InstallPath string.
3. Copy the elf.42 file from the CD to the game directory.
4. Play with out the CD.

This worked for me with the original Reloaded crack, but I didn't like this so that's why I did the NoCD.

Im saying i played this game before using a image and daemon tools 3.47, i installed from my cd in my rom drive then i changed some path in reg to daemons driver letter as it seems to stick to the drive letter of rom used to install, i cant remember as it was when game was new and as i said i only want to race the extreme modes, so thats as little or much as i know.

All this was really a waste of time it only saved me using real cd in rom drive always, and odd time it would fail the cd test i would need rerun it.

I couldnt sit and play this game start to finish no way exp the race track mode.

Thank's "BarryB", your modification in the registry work perfekt with the NEW reloaded fixed.exe, no cd in drive are now needet to play.:D

Damn, i aint got any reg entries for my games as i messed up my install after 1 year and i didnt want to redo all yet so i used a 2nd hdd with new install of windows and am running all the games from the broken install hdd, so basically i didnt install the games to this install there were on previous, i will reinstall motogp3 and try above seems very like what i used to do before, apart from the copy part.

@temp: If you change the CDpath to point to your Demon Tools Drive (or better still install the game when mounted in Daemon Tools) then mount an image of the game there is no need to do the 'copy' part as the game will do the protection check and find the elf.42 file on the mounted CD.

The above method lets you run a cracked game without any CD, but as I said I use my NoCD hack with the crackfix without any problems.

I would need reinstall the game to do that, i aint got reg entries for the game, im running it from a 2nd hdd with clean install of windows, its on the one i broke windows on and im using a shortcut to the main .exe lol, follow me ?. this all went BANG on Xmas day when i messed with my dual boot boot.inf's lol.

i downloaded crack (updated) and nocd patch, executed no cd patc on crack file, cracked game and now it works very fine without cd or anything...:D

@temp: Got you, some games don't need reg entries. I did the same with Quake 4 and GTA: San Andreas when I reinstalled windows on my C: drive, both games work fine from my D: drive without reinstalling, just created shortcuts to the EXE files.

He He! Volkswagen say their crack is 10mb smaller because there is no trace of Securom in the EXE, what they really mean is they used PECompact to compress the EXE :) This is done usually to 'hide' something, so I dumped the EXE and found they had patched the same bytes as in my NoCD patch :rolleyes:

And Skulls NoCD is identical to mine that has the same bytes patched too as my NoCD patch :eek:

As I once said, we will always love you, not them! :D But, seriously, if there's an obvious place for the no-CD/DVD patch (when the commercial copy protection is stripped off of the executable), why are you surprised that everyone chooses it, independently of others? ;)

It wasn't actually that 'obvious' to make this NoCD, at least not to me, a bit more difficult than some I've made. Anyway, if everyone else has the same bytes patched then I guess I must have done it right :)

I grabbed the VW one today, it works 100%, i don't care who claims to have made it or stole others idea or WTF ever, all i care is its the 1st crack here to work 100% for this game. :)
