I bought a used game and it was in German or French, since I don't speak German of French, I was wondering if there is any way to get an english language file, or somehow get the game to play in english.

I wonder if that "used game" isn't a fresh downloaded copy of Dinasty Warriors 4 Hyper ......

Anyway I guess nobody can help ya if ya don't tell us of which game you are talking. But maybe I am wrong.....

Actually its a copy of soldier of fortune 2, a friend of mine lived in singapore for a while and he sent me some games from over there. They looked different than the ones you could by in North America. The same is true of this game, I got it at a pawn shop, it has different cover art than the American version, it was in a soft plastic sleeve, no box, I assume it was bought in another country, and as I said it only has german language. I also must say that I am sick and tired of synical jerks on these boards Just because there are people out there that pirate games doesn't mean you have to go and blame me for pirating when you have no idea who I am or what I am like. If you are going to go around trying to be a smarta## than just keep your comments to yourself. As long as people don't discuss warez on this forum, no one has the right to - directly or indirectly - question the legality of their games. That's the reversal of forum rule #1 so, please, refrain from such comments.

You will not have much fun with the german version of SOLDIER OF FORTUNE 2, because of the "No Gore, No Blood, No Violence" in german games.

I don't know if it's possible to change it into english, but the game is old, so take a look at eBay.

Unfortunately you have a pressed silver copy, which is warez. This is a common thing in the far east. And they are extremely cheap also.

You dont have the original, so therefor due to rule 1 you wont get help.

Sorry buddy, you have to buy the legit game.

There's no need to be generic in talkin' 'bout a game if you own an original copy.
There are many ways to translate a game into another language (modify the config file, add files, change savestates and so on), I made 2+2 checking the gcw update page, which reported a crack for Dinasty Warriors 4 Ger\Fra so I supposed it was that case. As DW4 is a new game, I also supposed that a brand new european game is really difficult to be found used in Canada.
If was wrong, I'm sorry (but I'm not completelly sure about it), but the fact remains that
1.You suspiciously didn't specify the game name
2.You don't own a legit copy

Anyway, forgive me ;)
