Hi FIFA 06 players!

I had problems playing FIFA 06 with my original DVD - but now I can actually play FIFA 06 game without my DVD. Wanna know more - read on!

After you installed the FIFA 06 from your original DVD and applied the 1.1 official patch:

- 3 easy steps:

1) Download Daemon Tools 4 - it's freeware:

- and install it!

2) Download F06WAnB.rar from GCW:
http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_fifa_2006.shtml
- and go to:
"FIFA 06 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed Image #2 -
File Archive [24.0 MB] - Updated!"

The file to download is called "F06WAnB.rar"

You need to extract the files FIFA.MDF + FIFA.MDS from the image folder
in F06WAnB.rar (don't use Anti-Blaxx!!!).

Mount FIFA.MDS to a Daemon Tools virtual drive.

3) Export(backup), delete and import again(after playing) your Windows registry "scsi settings" manually by using Regedit - its' here:
HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi

- or

Download and use the batch file sd4start to do almost the same thing:

- or similar batch file(s).

Be careful when doing step 3 - don't mess with your registry!

Now you can play FIFA 06 without the DVD - enjoy!

Hi, please explain how you do this. I have done the other steps, and now it don't come up with the message about insterteing the correct DVD. But it does not enter the game..

Damon Tools 4 includes adware searchbar (optional) - so don't install the searchbar if you don't like adware.

Use f.ex. Spybot:

- or Ad-Aware:

- or similar if you installed the searchbar and want to get rid of it
(...and other adware from your computer)!

You dont want ads then you buy the software, dont tell people how to try or how to do get around showing ads.

Its how he makes money for his hardwork, since you got it for free.

That is as close to warez as you can get technically.

Leave the ads, let the guy get his money so he has enthusiasm to do the next version quickly and reliably.

If the developer gives you the opportunity to NOT install the annoying adware part of his software then not installing it doesn't make it warez. The license doesn't say that you must install that component and live with it.

I didnt say it was.

But using a workaround to leave programmers penniless just shows you the mentality of people, they wont even help the people that are helping them.

Sorry but I think its crap, ads are annoying but they arent in your face ads like other persevering adware.

There's a reason for the developer to have left the option of NOT installing the adware component. Perhaps, it's plain selflessness. I also give away my software, that took me a decade to develop so far, free of charge but give the option of paying for it. Now, if someone doesn't pay for it, is his or her mentality flawed? I don't think so.

Youve twisted the wording a bit..

Im not talking about if someone if given the option to pay for the software or not.

What I am saying is, if a guy has left ads in a program hes given out for free, so he can get money for his hardwork.

Then yes it should be left, if people dont like the ads dont use the software.

Its kids mentality, lets get everything "my way" for nothing. And it stinks.
