No CD help needed [Archive]

Ive got a copy of Black and White 2 but want to use the No CD option. Ive tried "Mount the BW2_DISC1.MDS CD-Image using Alcohol 120%." as informed on a website, but how does it work, the files go into a virtual drive and then what, they wont run.

Am I missing something?

Yes it does, looking at the FAQ it seems a bit compliated for a newbie, virtual drives etc etc. I was just looking for an exe file you could paste ontop.

The FAQ was meant especially for newbies! Can you explain which parts you do not understand and why?

Basically ive tried to mount it with Alchohol and done everything it says but then what? Anything you click on in the virtual drive does nothing. Sorry for being so thick

You atleast HAVE to click the desctop icon ? lol ;)
clicking a file on the disc poping up wont have any result

Desktop icon, you mean the original icon for the game? I've done that and it still asks me to enter the correct disc.

If you're trying to run anything off the mini/maxi image, it definitely will not work, only if you have a full images. You gotta keep reading the FAQ, as there's an entry about exactly this problem...
