matrix path of neo WORKS BUT NO SOUND!

i patched the game to latest version, mounted the image#3 in deamon tools, and disabled my dvd rom with starforce nightmare. the game finally boots up but i have no sound. any idea why?

does it have sound when you run the exe with the original dvd/cd? if so its a tech support issue and not a backup related one

check the sound isnt muted in the systray/control panel too, unless you have sound in windows, just not in the game

just what ever sound card you got upgrade the driver for it then its fine just do that

Not all soundcards (except newer) are DirectX compatable.

To original poster: Does the sound work with your original disc?
