powercolour radeon x800 pro 256 agp is this card ok , i have a 9800 pro at the moment and was wondering if it is worth me spending £80 4 it of a friend and is it worth me goin from the 9800 to the x800. also how will it cope with the latest games ???????????
Let me put it like this. Its a good card but im afraid that it want cope so good with the new games. I had X700 256mb Agp and it wasent enought. You need a realy good graphic card because you got Agp. You need a Nvidia GeForce 6800Ultra 256MB DDR3 AGP, "CoolFX Ultra/2600 GS then were talking. but it cost at least 500$. But this graphic card is is way better than the most Pci-express cards at least up to 7 series. But you can buy that graphic card from your friend its pretty good card but go for a new pc with pci-Express. I got Sli mode thats 2 Geforce 7800gtx dude thats rulez you dont have to buy a new card for ages.:D
A 9800 is still a very good card. Its equivilant imho is about an nvidia 5900 or 6200.
Neo not everyone has money to throw out onto a new motherboard etc.
I know dude im not ritch or something if you think so. it took me a long time to get these money maaan. But i told him that the X800pro card is better than 9800pro because i had one of those. I hope that everyone have will have super computers in the future. Trust me i know how it is to have old computer and old graphic cards. Ive been there my self. Shakioe Youre gonna do fine with the X800pro but you can always overclock it but get a good cooler first. Or you can listen to DABhand because 9800pro is a good card. I think i was overdoing it a little bit with Geforce 6800 ultra. Peace Out:)
