I recently bought Blitzkrieg 2, and i installed it. Without knowing it installed star force onto my computer and crippled it to the point were i cant install ANY drivers. I was forced to reformat my computer.

my question is, is there any program that will prevent the drivers from being installed onto my computer yet still allow the game to run?

I can make a disc image, iso maybe, can the sf be removed from the iso then installed without the protection? Im NOT letting sf touch my computer again

Not to my knowledge, no. They do have a SF driver removal utility. But then the games cannot run...

ye, I'm with Rendari.

Use the StarForce removal kit if you see something unusuall in your PC.

If you uninstall StarForce from your PC, you can still play the games with SF protection. When running them it will ask you to restart your PC (so it will install again SF to be able to play), so you dont have to worry if you delete it.

My PC is actually taking ages to complete load (since when I turn it on till desktop is fully loaded), I wonder if this is SF cause... It shouldnt take so long...

Hehe, I didnt defragment this bitch for 3 years, so no wonder. Too lazy. Doesnt matter, since I got a ****load of other computers lying around. Wait for this to boot while watching porn on the others :D

I am contemplating a format since this has gone out of control. I also have a VM boot up along with sice, and a bunch of chat progs, so...

DiamondCS ProcessGuard will block any driver install attempts by programs.

Its not freeware but it does the job :)

Of course without allowing the install of the starforce virus you wont be able to play the game without a crack.

Its really annoying they dont at least WARN you they are going to install SF
