Ok I currently have Daemon tools and Alcohol 120% on my comp, i dont use alcohol 120%. I recently installed Quake 4 (The LEGAL way) on my pc, every time I try to run it I get an error message stating, "CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and re-start the game". I have no clue why this is happening, ive unmounted the image i currently had mounted (It was FEAR) and i tried to run Quake 4 again, and I get the same message. I need my Quake 4 fix now, can somebody help me?

"Disable" here may actually mean "uninstall". You should ask the publisher for a precise definition of "disable".

[Edit:] Ehhh, stupid me, I forgot! Apply the latest official update to the game and the copy protection will be gone!

you need to uninstall clonecd. With the update it works because it has no protection anymore.

Oh and another thing, I have FEAR on my computer. I used daemon tools to mount the image and then SR7Stop to hide the thingy (i dont know what it hides, I was just going by my friends directions). I recently downloaded the updated version of the game because it kept prompting me to, now I cant play it because now after I hide the drive or something with SR7Stop and click on the FEAR icon I get an error message stating, "A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed". Any suggestions?
