What am I doing wrong?

Hey all,

just got the swap magic stuff, along with the little plastic thing.. etc... I backup the games, and burn with no problem.. but as soon as I load the backup in.. It freezes up as it tries to load, I can hear the PS2 fighting with it to play, but I mean, the games load, they just freeze up.. I don't know what else to try, I've tried DVD-R, DVD+R, always burned at slow speeds.. PS2 is V3, games I'm having problems with The Matrix: Path of Neo, 50 Cent:Bulletproof... after neither worked after multiple tries (same problem) I decided to stop until I could figure out what I'm doing wrong.. any help would be great... thanks!

always use -r discs ,burning slow may be issue try at max dependant on age of burners , a v3 might have laser issues ? , and swap magic is not compatible with all games goto swapmagicfix.com and check it out

I upgraded to better media, and that still didn't do anything... It still freezes up on the loading page for both games so far.. and I don't know where to look for patches for the game, none are on the link above.. any suggestions?? I'm going to try another game really fast and see if it does anything..

1) Swap magic Suck!

2) Your V3 most likely has a worn laser and struggling to read the recordable media. What most people dont realize is that recordable media is much harder for any laser to read then stamped originals.

I'm not sure if it's a similar problem, but I use swapmagic too and tried downloading a PS2 game. I unzipped it and the resulting ISO I copied it on a DVD-R. However, when I inserted the DVD following the swapmagic boot, it told me that it wasn't a valid PS2 disc.

I have already loaded other back-up dvds that my friend lent me, but this was the first time I downloaded one myself and tried to do it. What must I do? There's a patch I must apply or something to the ISO?

I bought matrix : path of neo, but I lost my game.
Now, I must launch it with crack but i've a problem : after your instllation notes i've a new message : my original disc can't be find !

What did i forget?

what crack are you on about ????? if you have a backup of your origonal then why do you need a crack ???

we need more info on the matter . ie model ps2 , mod installed (if any ) or swap magictosh , media used , method used to create burn image ??????? the list goes on.
