View Full Version : Fifa 06 1.1 - No Cd Fixed Exe Needed!
Hi!
I'm a little desperate - I need a FIFA 06 version 1.1 - No CD fixed EXE, PLEASE!!!!, since I can't play the game I bought. It starts up with an error message.
I have contacted EA - but they just to told me to uninstall Daemon Tools
and Clone CD - as if they should decide which programs I have on my computer. I need those tools because I have kids who play several games
a day - then you should be able to imagine why.
I know you guys can do an EXE - since you have done it for every FIFA game until now. Please do it again!
Thanks a lot!

If you bought the Original game call the exact EA hotline or send e-mail to
EA Games Support. Anyway WHAT error message up for you?

They are not deciding what programs you have on your PC, they are trying to help you get it running.
Its just your attitude that makes you think like that.
And yes CloneCD and Daemon tools are a cause for most games from not running. Try uninstalling them first.

In reply to DABhand!
It's quite obvious you just don't get it!
If the game developers make copy protection software which "decides" that certain software programs like Daemon tools and CloneCD (which are 100% legal) are not allowed - then they certainly have an attitude problem in my opinion - just like you! It's f...... invasion of my privacy to check for other programs which have NOTHING to do with their games and do not in any way prevent the games from running - the problem lies a 100% in the copy protection software. In comparison it would be like buying a PC which did not allow you to install Linux or like buying a DVD player which did not allow you to watch sci-fi movies. It's just disgusting!
My attitude is wanting to play a game which I bought in a store - out of the box. The only way I can do this is by cracking the game which is totally nuts...but I am sure others will help me!
DABhand! I don't know what you are doing here in this forum on Gamecopyworld - but others with serious business in mind would appreciate it if you just stay away - you're spamming! What's your problem? Did your mom not give you enough attention? Well, here's to you so I could make a point well worth making - and I hope you understood this time around.
Perhaps you failed to read, you can play your games, you just have to make sure no emulation programs are running just like I said.
And no its not invasion of privacy, they are protecting THEIR software. Its up to them the way the feel they wish to protect it.
The reason it checks for Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% etc is because these are known tools that help the warez people, so hence why it checks for these to hinder people from using images to run games they may not legally own.
That is why it isnt privacy intrusion or anything similar. At the end of the day, if it means to simple disable Daemon Tools etc to play a game then do it, its not that difficult once your done re-enable them.
Remember you made the choice to place those apps onto your system, if the game doesnt run when they are in the background, then thats not the games fault its protection is doing what it was designed to do, protect itself.
I suggest you look up the definition of spamming, cause you dont have a clue there either.

Virtual CD/DVD emulators can be used for purposes other than running pirated copies of software; e.g., running your legally owned software, or testing software you wrote yourself.
In Australia, Playstation modchips are now legal because they can be used for purposes other than pirated copies of software. This purpose is running software that has been bought in another part of the world (PAL vs NTSC; Europe vs USA vs Japan), and this purpose is the exact reason that the jury's decision was based upon.
By the way, region protection on DVD's is also an intrusion into your privacy as noone has the right to tell you where you wanna buy original DVD's (online shops; DVD's available in foreign countries only) and where you wanna play your legally owned DVD's (home PC; DVD player; friends; car; plane; train; any foreign country; friends in foreign country). I'm waiting for the day when some jury or authority states that it was completely illegal to do. (Haha, am I naive or what?)
[Edit:] By the way, FIFA, on a Sony Playstation Portable, you cannot install your own software because of "trusted computing" (guess who's on the trusted side, you or the big software/hardware companies!). There's a similar movement, called TCPA, for PC's, as well. Welcome to a Brave New World!
FIFA, banned for 2 weeks, the only one here with an attitude problem is you!
