sorry m8
burned with nero. usually use de-crypter but just done a fresh install of windows me and for some reason it wont decrypt a file over 4gb ( strange as before the fresh install used it all the time with no problems)
burnt onto a sony disc(which ive used for all my other ps2 backups with no probs) at 4 speed (slowest it will allow)
i use a " Sony DVD RW DRU-500A" burner
using ps2 ver12
swapmagic 3.6

YES I KNOW I NEED A REAL MOD CHIP BUT UNTILL I SORT IT OUT I WOULDNT MIND GETTIN THIS TO WORK!!

I dont have this game. Is total overdose on a DVD9 disc? DVD9 discs can be over 5GB. If so you will have to burn it to a dual layer DVD and swap magic cant boot dual layer back-ups as far as I know. Also I dont think windows ME supports the NTSC file system which will allow you to have files larger the 4GB.
