When I try to install the latest patch 1.01 for Age of Empires 3 the following error occurs:

"Missing or invalid Registry/INI entry. Update aborted."

Which registry settings do I have to change, to make the patch work?

reinstall from ORiGiNAL CD and apply patch ;)

I did and the game itself works fine. Only the patch doesn't work.

Do you use the rip version of AoE3? :)

No, if i would, there would normally come a reg file with it, wouldn't it?

If you have the original CD/DVD and not even a reinstall helps, guess what, you need to contact the publisher or read the official support forum instead!

Do you have over 2gb of free space? (For some stupid reason, the patch require this :rolleyes: )

No, I have not. I'll try getting more free space. Maybe that'll help...

Yeah, if I also had the knowledge where to find an AOE3 Rip, I would download it right away to get the patch working, instead of letting me accuse here permanently. :)
