just wanted your imput i see all have the neo 2.2 but i see the neo 2.5 dvd is this better to get i will not get the neo 4 if this will work i don't mind swapping pls reply.

Hi Kidace,

I've moved to an OrigaChip but on studying the NEO 2.5 DVD (5 wires) it is clear to me that this is an improvement on NEO2.2 (8 wires), but it is restricted to the following PS2 models: u4, u5, u6, and GT3 combo Pack.

NEO4 with its 33 wires will be a potential nightmare. I don't recommend anyone to move from NEO2.x unless you are desperate not to swap when booting CD-R backups.
