what is a trainer? (rome total war)

ok, im kinda new to gamecopyworld and i was looking for a no-cd for rome total war v1.3, but the only one that i could find said it was no-cd + trainer #1. what is a trainer, and should i download this? thx

A trainer is a cheat software; it makes the game easier. (If I may make a recommendation: if you can't play a game because it's too hard, try a lower difficulty level or another game. ;) )
