I bought FEAR over the weekend at Circut City for $39. When I installed it it said, a required security module can not be activated. I do not have alchol or daemon tools, or any other emulation, anti-blaxx etc. I do have nero, but the virutal drive is turned off. When I called the company, Sierra/Vivendi, they refused to give any technical support at all. The said that I had gotten the game before its release date, and so I could not get support!!!!!!!

Nice way to act you SOBS!!!!!!!!!! Youll take my dang money for a game that dont run! And of course Circit City has a no returns for any reason policy..

Scan your receipt and send it via email and say

NOW CAN I GET MY SUPPORT

lol

Technically the store sold it early when they shouldnt have, so wait till release date and ask again.

Hmm, well I bought Quake 4 yesterday and the damn game won't run either. Claims it cannot detect the DVD.
However same applied, seems store had it out for sale early but after sending Activision a picture of the Manual and DVD's they have bent over backwards to sort out the problem.

They are launching support for the F.E.A.R. title tomorrow. It's not their fault some retailers sold their product before the intended release date.
