Hello.
I've tried to install the new Catalyst Driver. But it doesn't works. I never had problems with Catalyst, but this time i always get a error massage. Like this:

Error Number: 0x80040707
Description: Dll function call crashed: ISLAYER.ISL.GetDirectXVersion

Setup will now terminate.

I've tried to reinstall DirectX but it doesn't works.
Can somebody help me?

un-install both the current ati drivers AND software (like the control center). Delete the folder named "ATI" on your C drive. Install directX 9.0c (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx), restart your PC, then re-install the ati drivers.

also re-dewnload the ati drivers, it might have gotten corrupt.
