Hey.. just wondering if a no-cd or mini image was coming out for Indigo Proph? I saw that there was one for the non-US releases called Farenheit (yeah i know i messed that up) but I wasn't sure if a someone was going to crack the US release?

as/when/if one comes out it will be posted im sure.. noone knows when so its pointless asking, all you can do is wait and see.. there is a thread (a large one) already about farenheit, perhaps you should read that, you could also scan the installation directory of indigo/farenheit (and the cd/dvd too possibly) with protectionid or a-ray to determine what protection is on your copy.. some people say theirs has tagés, some say its securom, both require different approaches in backing them up..

If it's tagés....you sure have a lot of dumping to do....pretty good stuff they pulled off lately....I really like your way of of wasting the OEP

Should just make a clone and run tetrisemu or w/e. Cracking tages is a waste of time since no good titles are protected by it, and people have better things to do. So dont expect a crack for a very very long time.

PS Checked with a friend. Looks like its securom.

DVD version of Fahrenheit/Indigo Proghency is Tages and the CD version is SecuROM v7.00.00.007 or something if it was v7.00.007... No matter the CD version is SecuROM anyway.

nice, I'll have to see if I can make a securom backup of my cd then.

i found this

/release note

This is a new kind of emu method especially designed for TAGES.
It is not quite a clone as we arent dealing with a 1:1 standalone copy.
That is, the twinsector data have not been added back into the image.
Technically it works like alcohol or dtools, running
a daemon that "reads" the tdf file and emulates the twin sectors.
This is released now so that people can enjoy this fine game
and not 6 monthes after street date.

For people who dont know what Bytemare means

OEP = Original Entry Point (I say Original others will call it something different)

Basically its the address the game uses to start to load the coding into the memory. When a game is protected with a wrapper, the EP is different, and the wrapper unpacks the game into the real OEP.

anyways yeah :P
