Madden 2006 cannot locate cd problem

I've just bought Madden 2006 installed it and when it says insert disk 1,i do but it still comes up please insert the correct cd-rom.I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but this doesn't fix the problem.I've installed it on my son's computer,which is a lower spec computer,and it works fine.Has anyone got any answers?
