I have installed and I am running Myst V image (mds) file using Antiblaxx and emulated with Alcohol 120%. But it installed perfectly and it shows the menu. But while trying to play it shows some emulations error. Why is it...Has somebody got the same error. ow do i run Myst mds files using some other alternative.

Hi this game is protected securom 7. You must use the software securom 7 stop (download on gamecopyworld). Mount game image and install (with daemon tools 3.47). Now run securom7 stop push hide and start the game.

I use virtual cd hide and I use deamon tools to emulate it works fine for me.

How big is your mds/mdf file?

could someone please tell me how to use anti-blaxx and where can I download it from?

I got a torrent link search in some torrent sites and the mds files is abt 1.75 gb....

Hi,

Please help me. It's impossible for me to make Myst V run without the DVD. Il've tried out AntiBlaxx, Securum 7 Stop, Virtual CD Hide, all with Daemon tools 3.47 and Alcohol 195 3105. When i try to launch it allways give me the message "Impossible to activate the security module, impossible to start the game"

What can i do, please?

Hi guys,

heared that there is a patched antiblaxx 1.16.exe for Myst (securom 7) going around. With the original I canīt start the game. Does anybody can send me the patched version ???

I have the same problem - my DVD drive broke a week after I bought the game and I had to use my roommate's computer to burn the disk. Since his machine is circa 1998 (he isn't a gamer) I can't play on his computer.

Now that I have my disk on my harddrive I got the suggested applications.

I have Alcohol 120% latest version off their site.
I have Virtual CD hide
I have Anti Blaxx 1.17
I have Securom 7 Stop 1.0
I have Virtual Daemon v3.47.

Here is what I have done...

1. I uninstalled the old version but kept the save files.
2. I placed my dvd copy image into Alcohol 120% and reinstalled.
3. I turned on Anti Blaxx 1.77 and filled in locations of Daemon Tools and Alcohol in the top two lines. I have kept the Blindwrite empty and English is slected for my language. I have restore set to After 20 seconds and Method is Delete Entries (more dangerous). I have Protection set as Securom 7 and game is linked to eoa.exe in the Cyan folder. I kept the Mount Image empty.
4. After filling in the information at Anti-Blaxx I went to eoa.exe in the Cyan folder and turned compatibility to Windows 2000.
5. I then turned on Virtual CD hide
6. I then turned on Securom 7 Stop and then closed the program (as it suggests in the information to shut the program off before launching game).
7. I then click on Anti Blaxx and run game Myst as I called it.

What results is Anti Blaxx says OUT OF MEMORY Error 7 and shuts down.

If I run Anti Blaxx and launch the game WITHOUT Virtual CD hide - then I get ther error "A required security module can not be activated. This program can
not be executed".

Any ideas ? help? I really want to continue my save file. :(

patched version is on gamecopyworld.com try checking sites next time please before asking, last time i checked version 1.16, 1.16 modified and 1.17 were there, though personally i dont use anti blaxx because its buggy

totally crazy, run one, but not all of them, i shudder to think what state your registry is in now because of this.. all 3 progs do more or less the same thing, using slightly different approaches.. anti blaxx by far is the most unstable of the lot of them, what you did is like mixing acid and petrol and smoking a cigarette at the same time.....

How did you managed to burn the disc? I thought it broke?

the disk is fine - my DVD drive is kaputt so I burned it on another machine :(. However I cannot run the game on my roomie's computer since it is ancient.

In response to Tippex - sorry I never had to resort to this before, do you have any step by step suggestions to get my Myst working? thanks.

Can someone tell me if the Deviance "Myst V v1.0 [MULTI] No-DVD/Fixed EXE" (in gamecopyworld.com) is working??

If I'll use this fixed exe, do i need to use antiblaxx too?

No-DVD = no need for emulation or discs/images.
