Pasos:

1] Ultima version del alcohol 120% (1.9.5.2802) instalada
2] Instalacion Completa del juego
3] Ejecutar Virtual-CD-Hide (boton derecho en el icono y ocultar unidades virtuales)
4] Buscar en la carpeta del juego (c:\archivos de programa\eidos\Total Overdose) los 2 ejecutables y en propiedades establecer compativilidad con Windows 98/Me
5] Play !

1] Need the last version of alcohol 120% (I Use: 1.9.5.2802) Installed
2] Install Game in Full Version
3] Run "Virtual-CD-Hide" tool (right click on the tray icon and click on "hide virtual drives")
4] search for the instaled folder (c:\program files\eidos\Total Overdose) for the 2 executables files and right click and propieties, and put "compatibility with Windows 98 / Windows Me
5] Play !

PD: anti-Blaxx Not Needed (don´t install it.... it´s sucks
PD2: All Works Fine (Savegames too)

where can i get virtual hide cd?
am i right or does the game have got a very crappy copy protection :confused: if making an image with alcohol is enough and hiding some virtual drives, kewl :cool:

I have a little prob.
My image file is removed and i can mount it no more .
Everytime i wanna download the image file , I see a small message .
It says : File is not possible to get ( approximately)

I must say that I am getting gosh dang P-O'ed by the rudness and general mean demeanor of many people here. Why cant we be a little kinder to one another. We are all flawable mistake prone human :confused: beings. . As for on topic, I strongly encourage people to not use daemon tools or anti-blaxx. I get much better results form Alchol 120 and cd-hide. And ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY!!

I agree. If I cant get something to work I will take any instructions I can get. If your to lazy to look up what they mean that is your problem. Reikirex's method works. You are not going to play the game without the image file and no one here is going to tell you how to find one.

what also works is:
use Alcohol120% and SR7.Stop_1.0.exe
download it here for example (http://download.copybase.ch/mb-lock/SR7.Stop_1.0.exe)

1. make sure the MDF and MDS files are in the same folder with the same name. 'ccd-tod.mdf' and 'ccd-tod.mds' (or what name you gave them)

2. with Alcohol make sure all emulation options are on. (realy important: RMPS MUST be enabled!!)

3. mount ccd-tod.mds with alcohol and install the game. keep it mounted after setup!

4. change both tod.exe and totaloverdose.exe in the TOD directory to windows 2000 compatibility. (if you are running WinXP else do nothing)

5. hide all virtual drives with SR7.Stop.

6. run the game.

make sure you always use SR7.Stop everytime BEFORE starting the game and alcohol to mount and THEN start up the game...
do some locomoves for me ;)

btw: should work with deamontools as well, but i didn't test it...

The first method works great with d-tools. Thanks, cause antiblaxx is very ****y soft and it caused my system to crash when running the game.
