Anti-Blaxx

First off, be easy on me, I'm a female and I have the right to be blond ;)

Now to my question, and I hope I'm not breaking any rulez because it can get really confusing here :)

Anti-Blaxx is supposed to solve the CD-DVD emulation problem of Myst 5
but whatever I do, Myst still detects my installed Alcohol 120%

I wonder if this happened to anyone else and if there's a way to solve this.

In case this topic is forbiden please just lock it and don't kick my butt :)

Uninstall your Alcohol 120%, then reinstall it, choos ExpertMode during Installation and change the names of bus/scsi to something else (for me: glhbus / glhscsi :D).
Now Alcohol 120% can't be detected.

Yes. Allthough the base intention of Anti-Blaxx is a good one, the prog itself is crap and very buggy.
It causes registry mess quite often and its backup/restore function does not work correctly.
Simply rename the bus/scsi like GLH said.

hi, i was reading on the forum about that change of name of the drives and i've done that for daemon tools and alcohol but it doesn't work..at least for fifa 06 i still have to use antiblaxx and when i run the game it keeps moving by itself i can't play it..any ideas please? :confused:

I finally solved the antiblkxx problem and am almost at the end of the game.

It worries me that you guys said that it messes up with the registry, but I hope that restoring alcohol to it's default configuration will sort it out.

Hey can u pls explain how u solved it...i also have myst V and iam not able to play it. Someone siad i shld use securerom but never tried but how will u make it work with antiblaxx....
One more probs my cd rom drivers are reset using antiblaxx and nero detects it as 2x instead of 48x how do i restore it....

For SecuROM 7 games use SecuROM 7 Stop 1.0
I tried it with 3 games ( Myst 5 , Serious Sam 2 and F.E.A.R ) and it works perfect without any problems.
