hey guys just courious i just brought a new box its a 1.6 and it playes dvds on dvd-r out of the box is that usual :confused:

Sure......Just movies right? I mean you bought the remote, right? Be cause if you did not, then you either lucky or well...lying.. haha... a standard dvd player will play dvd-r and the xbox is no different

I always though you had to get a remote or mod your xbox to get it to play "movies" out of the box.

Yeah you do...I was just assuming that he bought the remote also....otherwise it will not play them....
