Problem with PIONEER DVD-RW DVR K14L

Hi

I have a problem with my dvd burner.
I dont have another DVD Device
So when I put a DVD in my burner it makes some stage noise.
like it wants to read but it cant!
what can I do. My burner cant read anything yet.

Please help

Make sure the jumper is set to master.
