Now I understand the S-video out but what about S-video in,
My T.V. has RCA and Cable inputs (am I in the stone age), do I
need to upgrade My console :confused:

its your tv that you'd need to upgrade.. not your console. If your tv doesn't have s-video in you're pretty outta luck with the whole s-video concept.. Just get a regular ps2 av wire (red white yellow) and run it the standard way.
