If you read the nfo it will tell you what you have to do additionally.

But ill tell you an easier way, make a backup of your CD's, they are not protected.

There is a win XP fix out there if you are running xp , this may fix your problem try searching fir FFVIIXP.ZIP in your favorate search engine. I did a quick ftp search via Reget and came up with a site that had it Here (http://home.iprimus.com.au/animevamp/FFVIIXP.zip)
Hope that helps :)

Iam running Windows 2000 NT so that fix wouldn't help me but thx for support

but with a eng version of a crack i could load saved games but it would crash in a few minutes so i think that game is full with bugs :)

Try this, in the games settings program, choose software renderer.

in the system config it is software renderer
so i think that isnt the problem

Errr get Windows XP???

lol

Honestly I dont have any clue as why your having problems..

Perhaps get latest service pack for windows 2000?

But there is a possibility that Windows 2000 will run the XP fix. Backup your main game.exe file before putting it on.

Hey guys i installed the XP patch and its still not working.BTW i got two cracks with the game, one called ff7rtnt and the other called rendff7b.Where do i install them??? Cuz they both have the same launcher and config file in them, but with different sizes.O and i tried installing both in the default FF7 directory but,the game wouldn't launch with either of the two cracks! What should i do?? Help! :(

Thats the wrong XP patch buddy.

There was a TNT fix and a Gforce Fix, the one you need is a different XP patch alltogether.

I might have missed something here, but I've done my patchwork on the game, and when I get to the "New game" menu, I click it, only to be diverted to another screen that says "insert disk 1."

What exactley do I need to do from here?
Create a blank data disk with the ff7 files on it to sub. for the "disk 1"?

MUCH appreciated on any help.

If anyone knows, I'd REALLY like to know. I've been dying to play ever since I saw Advent Children. You'd really be helping someone out. :o
