Street pirates in eastern europe have been 1:1 cloning sf3 games a long time ago. I even saw a lot of them selling SCCT, but I dont know if it works since I dont buy pirated games ;)

so if you didn't buy how did you know it was a 1:1 copy and not a crack? ;)

But i heard MiRROR released a pirated image of TM:SR which is supposed to be working. Now they just gotta have to tell us how WE can do such an image to backup our own originals!

P.S.: Forget about MiRROR "method"; successes are just accidental (estimated success rate: max. 5%); better ask for ZONE/OFFSET/SPR values of someone who allready logged SF check for requested titles

Oh dear oh dear...

The russians have made a master disc and pressing silvers.. Using mass-duplicators.

As for the above site, its possible with good readers at slow speed when making mini-images.

This site offers you DPMs of Sf-Protected Titles. So this site is only about starforce. It has russian and foreign DPMs who work, because in russia nearly all (legal) releases are now protected with starforce!

There are different types of copying stuff...
In russia and in asia they have these big manufacturing plants that can press silver discs, this often happens in the "backyard" of CD/DVD-r producing plants.

MiRRoR is using a patching method developed over at the cdfreaks forum.
Check here for yourself http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=89521&page=12&pp=25
too bad an honest communitys hard efforts is stolen and used by a warez group... :-(

These SF Clones released by Warez groups wont work for the most people. Because you need to patch the image differenly for EVERY Cdr. So if you dont have exactly the same cdr as the "cracker", the backup wont work. And how lage is the possibilyty of having it?

So its not that bad.

Thats probably right, but the "original" releases eg from akella are also very cheap so that the orginal licensed games are not only translated and cheap, the are also Starforce protected.

Its a pity that i havent access to them :p
