I don't know if its already known, but I've found this to be working quite well with version 1.4b. Just wanted to share this with everyone

As written on the small forum, below the article, this hack uses the version 1.0 executable of the game, thus reintroducing bugs that were solved in the 1.4b update. In other words, this hack is not very useful.
