Hi-!
i have got problem with online shop
i want to buy ps2 flip top + swap magic 3.6
But how can i buy it online ?
I havent got c/c
Can i buy via PayPal without c/c ?

Swap Magic and Flip kits are pure sh*te :)

Save your money and get a proper no-swap modchip fitted. You won't regret it - even if it takes you a few months extra to save. :cool:

i agree with lufcfan 100% i baught those lil swap discs for my brothers ps2 and it is the biggest waste of money i have ever made but now hes 14 i have baught him a proper modchip

i dont understand all the negativity towards swap magic?
Ive had mine for eons and ive never had a problem with it. My ps2 works fine, as good as before the swap was used. all my backups work fine so im confused.
I know mod chips are the way forward (i will be in touch with lufcfan about fitting one for me) but as a introduction mod chip i think its quite good and simple to use.
it also does'nt interfere with your waranty.(if you use swipe card)
So why all the negativity?

Probably because they do not work with all games. Some backups require patching and the slide card will eventually destroy the tray eject.

Problem is , in my country all are stupid for PS2 :mad:
They can't install mod-chips :(
So i need some mod-chip and i must install all by my own :)

You don't need to have any PS2 expert to install a modchip.
What you need is someone that knows how to solder well.
I'm sure that there are many people around you that work in places where people do alot of soldering and i'm sure that such people would be able to do the modchip installation if you give them the schematics.
I did the same thing and the woman that did my soldering didn't even know what she was doing, all she knew was that she got a large board and a small board and that she soldered some contacts from the small board to places on the large board. :D

However, the PS2 is small scale soldering work, so don't try and find the nearest have-a-go-joe who hasn't done anything on a really small scale before...

I've never been a big fan of DMS chips so i have never installed one of these Blu-ray. Not flaming DMS, this is just my preference :) . Most of the chip clips i have tried to use in the past were a pain in the arse :) . Maybe Spedmetal, Lufcfan or someone else can tell you more about this chip. If it was me i would keep searching for a installer.

There's nothing wrong with a messiah2 modchip. If you have one thats compatable with your console version then all you need to do is find a installer.

You can try. Go find a old electronics board to practice on first. The points on the install images are alot larger than the actual points on the PS2 MB. Like i said practice first. Then open up the console and have a look at the MB. If you have ANY doubt about soldering to any of the points put the console back together and get a Pro. Better this than buying a new console.

The DMS4 EZI is one chip to stay clear of. Not because its a poor chip.... but the clip kits design is less then desirable. The EZI line of chips will eat your console for lunch. The solderless clips will bend and break the chip legs rendering your console useless.

I have had a few people now send me there EZI install in an attempt to save it after the damage the EZI has done to there console.

Here is a DMS4 EZI converted to a proper solder install. I was also able to save this console from the grave after the initial install.

Swap discs do suck and I would recommend being patent and doing it correctly.

Well if you copy and past that link he put to a new browser window you can see the picture of the chip he is asking about. Its a Messiah TW or HK either way its a clone and nothing more then Magic 2 or magic 3.1 code at best.

And yeah shavedcat was banned and in fact now that I think about it this guy has emailed me with similar lame questions about this chip. I even linked him to a diagram for this crappy chip.
