Today I upgraded to Win Xp pro 64 bit only to find out that neither Daemon nor Alcohol 120% work under win 64. So now I can't play BF2 cuz I only bought the CD key on ebay.

Does anyone of some software that is able to mount images to virtual drives that works under windows Xp 64 bit edition?

Why you uzpdated to WinXP64? It's absolutly unnecessary.

Lo
Have a look at this link
http://www.winimage.com/misc/filedisk64.htm

use the following
filedisk_modbin64_tray.zip

and

WinImage 7.0

you can then mount virtual drives from images

WinXP64 will be totally useless forever, I can not really imagine it will ever be useful to any end-user.
When 64-bit gets big (with games made for it) Windows Vista will have recieved its 3rd service pack or something like that...

Bought the CD-Key on ebay? I would never do something like that. Original DVD in original unopened case from known retailer is my way of games... :D

still if he bought a legit key from ebay, its no good without a game is it...unless he has a copied warez version.

64bit is superior to current 32bit Operating Systems.

Totally true Dab, totally true :D
Back to the original question- The new version of DeamonTools, when it comes out will have support for WinXP 64. Until then, you will just have to wait!

Windows x64 will be out before vista, so by the time vista appears x64 will have a service pack out lol :)

And x64 can run 32bit games under 64 bit. With a huge performance boost. Especially with AGP control.

While they're are some good arguements based on rumors, I would never bet on M$ delivering on their promises for at least a couple years. For a end-user client home based peon, 64 will probably be 2 years before an improvement over 32 is seen.

I am tri-booting, between XP Pro, Vista Beta and 64x Trial.

And the 64x is in working order, the trial is for people to report on any bugs they find before release early 2006.
