Again i saw a game with Star-Force protection. For other games i found solutions (e.g.:CMR 2005,Scrapland). Anyone found something for BOS ?

Iīve downloaded the 800 MB !!! update and installed it.
S***F**** is still active. I thought that.
Is there a way to make a MI ?

Everything CAN be cracked, it's just a matter of time. But, with this uber versions of SF3, it takes SO MUCH TIME for cracking, and crackers don't want to do that. Just wait for DT4...

Everyone sais it will work with DT4 but if it doesnt ? All the "DT4 will do it, wait for it" i cant hear it anymore...
What happens if it cannnot circumvent SF3 :confused: I dunno, would be great if it is possible with Daemon tools 4 but I'm pessimistic ;)

It tooks 2 weeks for Splinter Cell 3 to be cracked and it has got the same version of StarForce than B.o.S...

Though it has SF3, it is a great game ! Played it a while but then reinstalled my WinXP because of strange probs with my HD :mad:
Really if it didnt have SF3 i would have played it through for bout 5 times or so :D
But i really would like to have that working (!) crack for Splinter Cell CT :)

BOS was now released by some cracker group (4cd version, i own the german version and its on dvd) well it was released as alcohol images, which no one does need as it doesnt run anyway

but see what the nfo file says

1.Burn with Alcohol 120,at 4x speed,use securom NEW profile. Make sure RAW DAO is selected.
(DO NOT USE SECUROM NEW 4/5,MAKE SURE RMPS IS OFF)

2.When asked, select "Keep TOC as on source cd,write until end of image file

3.Install, Use CDKey: *removed* Play from CD/DVD Reader and Enjoy!

so they say you burn it with these settings and play this starforce protected game from the copy. shouldnt work i think?! anyone here owing the cd version who can try it out? well dont know which read settings in alcohol they used.

well okay as you say but its only a info about burning sf images but i still think this shouldnt work

maybe with sfcure, but not burned to a disc and without anything, if this was possible it would have been discovered ages ago

iīm one of the lucky ones who bought the game without reading a review... :rolleyes: well, the reason why i did, is that i was really looking forward to that game.

this game is pure crap, iīd really like to get my money back, looks like a crappy beta version to me..donīt buy this, you will be dissappointed like i am..

Yes man I did the same mistake.
But back to the question in the beginning of this thread:
How 2 play without DVD?
First of all it's not possible 2 make a mini image as easy as for games with stupid protections(SD, SR). The only SF3 mini image I know is SCCT. So if u really want to play BoS without DVD u need the full 4Gig image on your HD.
Because it has SF3.5 u need 2 unplug all DVD/CD devices from your mainboard. Then u disable nodes with SF nightmare and play using SFCure.
But as already said, it's not worth it.

Was there in fact a CD version of Bet on Soldier released?
The reason I ask is I have been sent a CD2DVD conversion for it but I cant find any reference of a CD version actually being released? (Except of course the 4CD warez version which was apparently released!)
And as there is no crack for the game anyway there is really not much point in coverting it?
Could someone let me know about a CD version please? And if there is does it play by just mounting an image of CD1?

do as the info file says , burn the image like bierhuetti says, and u can play from the disk coz i been playing it like this for a month or so now ! and also scct, look hard enough and u will find the answer !!!!!!!!!!!!! if u need help let me know ?

I will explain a bit further, I dont have the game and I dont want the game! I have been sent instructions on how to convert Bet on Soldier from 4 CD's to one DVD.
But is there really a 4CD version?

P.S.: I donīt know why there are so many threads about starforce Vx.xx and petitions.

There is one way to play the games without any problems and thatīs using the original disc. And if you donīt want to, than make an image disable your optical drives and play! ;)

I realize this game is starforce.I have the legal cd us version of the game.I been playing the game without the disc for sometime now.I modified my pc with a switch that kills power both 12v & 5v to both of my dvd/dvd-rw drives.This saves me from opening the case & unpluging the drives each time.
Simply shut down turn switch off and reboot.When you want them back shut down turn switch on and reboot.I am praying a crack by reloaded or someone of thier talents cracks this game soon.
