Lately I've been having problems with no-cd patches for GTA:San Andreas, Brothers In Arms, SWAT 4. I can play the game for about 10 minutes and then POOF... my computer reboots! I have no idea of what the problem is. I have tried ALOT of different cracks and I ran a NAV virus scan which came out clean.
Thanks in advance...
Check all your fans! Thats a symptom of overheating!
Yep, especially the processor...
Sounds like its either..
1. No/little thermal grease on the CPU.. If applied yourself make sure..
a) You did not put too much on
b) you did not put too less on
It should when applied just cover the middle chip and thinly enough to just cover it.
2. You have overclocked your machine and dont have adequate cooling fans/system.
When it shuts down again, switch off power from back on PSU (power supply unit) and gently touch the heat sink, boiling hot? then that is the problem.

Yes, either the cpu has overheating problems or the psu slackens.
It does happen using the original exe files, too, I assume ?

well it doesnt do this with BF2 without the no cd crack..and BF2 seems like its more intense on my computer than gtasa and swat4...i think it might be a problem within my Windows...
Yes it may but check the heat on your CPU after it does it again, better safe than sorry.
