DVD Back up Compression

Can anyone suggest a good compression software for storing Backed_up DVD's?

I use dvd shrink to b/u onto a 4.7 dvd; is there any software that compresses/ decompresses beyond that? Trying t save hd space

If i remember correctly... RatDVD can compress a complete DVD to one 2 GByte file.
