I just wondered if it is possible to get CS 1.6 and play it offline with my brother via LAN ?! I know it works but how to do it without i-net (i have it but is it nessecary to connect to Steam and update CS ?) ?!
Could anyone of you write down an instruction on how to :
- get CS 1.6 (is there a single download ?)
- install it (register it)
- play it via lan without updating and connecting to steam
- get and install bots for it (are the CS:CZ bots available for CS 1.6? The bots of CS 1.5 were so f*ckin' stupid)

Big thanks in advance for your help !

I actually own CSS but i don't thinks so good about it ;)
CS 1.6 is better though it looks ugly
Maybe youre laughin' but i have no other way to play than with my brother via LAN :confused: So 1on1 is boring and the bots of CS:CZ were quite okay for me :)

So is there a way to buy the thing, play it on lan and get bots for it ?!

If you have Half Life original, use your cd-key and download CS from steam (it comes included with Blue Shift etc also, with a bit better game engine)

ISDN = 64 KByte ! Or?
Yep, it's 64k which results in max. 8kb/s :D
That's better than 56k but the difference is not that big, eh ? :cool:
But i don't have to activate it like CSS ?!
