Hi, I've just replace the circuit board on my PS2 laser head HD7, because this head laser was weak and has failed. But my after soldering the circuit board onto the HD7 laser head. The laser does not read anymore. I believe it is the calibration of the new circuit that needs to be done. IS THERE ANY MANUAL OUT THERE THAT SHOWS THE SETTINGS FOR THE CALIBRATION??????
Please let me know, thank you.

Weak laser is normally the result of burnt coils and not bad circuit...
What you need is to replace is the coils or the entire laser unit but there is also a good chance that you burnt the LA chip in the process (I assume that it's a V9/V10) which means that you also need to replace the LA chip on the main board.

Not necessarily. HD7s can also be found in V7 PS2s aswell...
