need help dvd9 backup!!

hey guys.. been reading and searching for a straight day now and cant find an answer.. im trying to backup GT4 to a dvd+r DL disc.. i bought them yesterday and have a dual layer burner in my laptop.. oringally it had sonic DLA which i removed because ive heard of that giving backup problems.. i made an image (didn't patch it because i have a CC chip and new hacked firmware) with dvd decry. and tried to burn it back to my dvd+r DL disc that was in my burner.. i got an error..

i cant figure how to host pics rite in the forums so i just host at imageshack.. click the thumbnail for bigger image!!

It looks to me as if it isn't recognising the inserted media. Do you have another disk? Does it do the same thing?

If so, check for a firmware update for your drive, or try another DVD+R9 DL disk manufacturer. :)

ya i have a Mat****a dvd-ram uj-820s drive and have not found any upgrades.. i bought a 3-pack of these discs and none of them worked.. you think it cud be the media? should i buy asn expensive one? thing is i dont wanna waste more if they dont work!!

damn.. i guess i can take these back to futureshop and tell them they didn't work!!
