I just had my pstwo modded by a pro with a cc + laser fix + hd extender. He did a superb job no doubt about that installing it. The problem is that the only hdl that works with pstwo is the .7c because every other version will try to format the hdd over and over again. Beside the pstwo I also owned a v7 with cc chip running hdl .6d, when I try to run the hdl 7c from various sources on the v7 it wont run any of the game from the hdd. All the compatibility are set at the same setting, also the same thing happens on my pstwo, loading the hdl 7c it will recognize the hdd and list of games, but when I try to run it....nothing. Anyone knows of any reason why that is or knows a solution that you can point me to? Don't really want to have to go with usbadvance since I already have an hd extender installed already. Any help would be much appreciated.

After much frustrations and hairs pulling, the problem has been solved. Did you know that using BM running from MC to boot HDL Disc would show the game but wont run it? Well I didn’t, but now I know and so do you.

Another problem arise though that I need help with. This is the process that I usually take in order to put HDL on my MC, I did it with the version .6d on my v7 and it has been running flawlessly but doing so with the 0.7c on my v12 caused the same original problem of listing games but wont run.

Steps taken to put HDL on MC:

1. Copied the Mega pack to HDD
2. Overwrite the HDL.ELF file of .6b with .7c
3. Make an image of the Mega Pack on the HDD using Nero
4. Burnt image to CD
5. Boot Pstwo with MC
6. Install HDL to MC

Yeah I realized that some of you would say its easier to ftp it with network connection. I’ve tried that, I can connect to my MC and see the folders and everything, but it wont let me put the new HDL.ELF onto the MC for some reason or let me create directory within the MC using that method either.
