Hello @ all

i have a question about Deamon Tools and Battlefield 2.

After installing Battlefield 2 i have automatically lost my Virtual CD/DVD Drive from Alcohol.
You know that i must have an Virtual Drive to use MINI IMAGE from GCW.
If i try to install DeamonTools or Alcohol than cames an Error during the Installingprozess (some stupid nummbers i

dont know)

How can i now install an Virtual CD drive on my system?
I have used ANtiBlaxx but it dosent work .
I also have changed the names for virtual drive during the Instalation Prozess > dosent work !!!

BIG THANKS.

JETZT IN DEUTSCH:

Vielen Dank .

Normally bf2 does not kill your emulation soft.

Maybe you have some virus/trojan which does. Do a full system check and uninstall all emulationsoft you have on your sys (nero, ccd, alc, daemon) and then REBOOT and try again.

try installing Anti-Blaxx, it hides emu software thus avoids blacklisting issues

ok thanks, i will try that.

But in other forums i have read that my problem is an driver problem .
I have to delete the drivers in the Windows / system ordner.

You could try running Alcohol, click on the 'Virtual Drive' icon(bottom left and see whether it is enabled by looking at the 'Number of Virtual Drives' (top of the pop-up window).

If it is set to 1(or more), try setting to zero(click OK) then set to 1 or whatever number you require and see whether this shows up in 'My Computer' again.

The drive may still be enabled, but for some reason not show up in 'My Computer', if after trying above it still doesn't show, you can mount images form Alcohol by right clicking on the virtual drive, at the bottom of the window under 'Device' after running Alcohol.

What none of these forums seem to understand is that it isnt as simple as using Daemontool for mounting the mini image..

Right now im stuck playing BF2 1.0 because i cant find a no dvd or cd crack for 1.02

If A User is running windows XP pro 64 bit edition. Daemon tools and any other mounting software isnt compatable.

Daemon tools X64 beta is still in the testing phase and im hoping that someone will crack and debug it for XP64 bit before then.

Then, while you're kinda "away", you'll have lots of time to read the forum rules. ;)
