Hi just wandering...now that Decrypter is no longer going to support new encryptions...

What is the closest equivalent...

Some say 1click dvd copy + dvd43...?
or dvd cloner 2?

Any thoughts...?

Thanks.

I really liked DVD Decryptor even though it was, at times, very slow. It is sad to see good freeware get pushed out of the way by certain various large/evil corporations whose name(s) need not be mentioned.
Anyway, there isn't any one program that replaces it. There are, however, still some good freeware programs available out there. DVD 43 and DVD Shrink are pretty good. I've heard that Rat DVD can also be a very useful electronic tool for making back up copies of DVDs that you own, but I had nothing but trouble with it. Be very careful if you download Rat DVD--besides not being able to get it to work, it caused some file corruption when I removed it.
As far as commercial software goes, I don't really know. I've heard that Any DVD and Clone DVD2 are really good--I've heard the same things about VOBBlanker and Alcohol 120. I am waiting for replies to a thread that I posted to get some opinions and feedback on what other File Forums users have to say about what is available out there. I don't want to have to buy a dozen differnet sets of programs if I don't have to.
Good luck.
