Well dang it. My pink ps2 is giving problems. I tried to install reality media player and everything went to heck after that. It didn't work. Now my ps2 deck acts like no chip is installed. I have tried pressing reset 4x and it doesn't seem to want to reset the chip. I also tried holding in eject thinking it was in sleep mode and pressing eject 3x. I don't think the chip is damaged. I think I'm just not doing something right in pressing buttons. Also the chip is dms3 NOT dms3+ or anything like that. Any help would be gladly appreciated. :D

Well it has been a good day. I took apart my pink deck. I cleaned out the dust and checked the chip. It was an exceptionally tidy chip install inside the deck. I took the battery out of the motherboard for a few minutes and then put everything back together. Then I was able to flash the chip with the dms3 upgrade disc. Now all is well. I guess it was a bad flash and just somehow got itself stuck not wanting to reflash. Thanks to all you guys for the help and advice. :D
