v9 tray won't eject.

Hey all, I finally got around to replacing the LA chip I got from richspsxparts. It was time consuming but I feel in the end it was worth it, that is if I can fix the tray issue.

I modded the v9 with a crystal chip and Did the romeo mod. Laser moves like it's supposed to, up down all around but when I hit the eject button the light just flashes and then the laser does its thing.

Anyone got an idea what's going on? Where I should look? Does the LA chip control eject also?

Yep :)

Firstly, check all your ribbons are firmly plugged in. If so, check over the LA Chip points again.

It may also be worthy noting that if you've removed the tray for whatever reason, to reinsert it and only very lightly tighten the screws back up which hold the tray in place. Too tight, and it won't open for sh*t :D
