Howdy all. Which chip should I get? Does anybody know of a store I can buy a chip at in Chicago instead of waiting for a week or two for the mail?  :D   :o :( ;)

Ugh dude, u gotta let us know more than just asking what chip you wanna buy. What do u plan to do with it, what features would u like etc etc. But if that still doesn't answer your question, which it doesn't...go buy an MI chip.

just have one of those slimeline ps2's. I've got the after market flip top lid and the swap magic 3.6 and I haven't been able to successfully play a back up yet. I figured I'd just mod it and get it over with.

my pc p4 2.8 GHTZ 512 ram dvd+R burner (Teac)

I would get a Infinity or a Crystal chip.

As far as installation in Chicago, visit www.freedomlives.com, I've had a console modded there and he does great work.

Oh, and same chip recommendation as Warlock. Matrix Infinity or Crystal Chip.

man if ur gonna buy a chip with a view to installin' it yourself, you'd better be pretty nifty with an iron...leave it to the pros would be my advice.

Oh, and yeah go with Matrix Infinity or Crystal Chip. DMS range is good too but tends to be more $$

As other use recommanded, MI or CC

If you have other chip in mind, you should compare it all first
