Hi Kruse,

If you're having problems with your original CD, send an E-mail to the game publisher/developer or see the official game support forum. If they cannot/don't want to help, scan the main executable with ProtectionID (see the forum sticky!) and tell us what protection it uses. Good luck,

Joe

Hi Kruse,

Well, a Norwegian software with a commercial copy protection... That's not really something that crackers would waste their time with... :(

Hi Kruse,

Sorry, let me rephrase what I wanted to say two posts above:

1. People who'd like to help you cannot crack commercial copy protections, like Safedisc 3+. (I certainly can't.)

2. People who would be able to crack commercial copy protections won't help because they're not visiting this forum and a small Norwegian software is not at all what they're interested in cracking.

So, I guess, you must keep using your original CD... If that doesn't work, see what I wrote in my first reply about getting official game support. Good luck anyway,

Joe

Hi Kruse,

I wasn't saying that it's the Norwegian language that is causing problems for crackers; I was saying that, if it's a Norwegian game, sold in small amounts, then it's not interesting (read: not as interesting as major games, like DOOM, Half-Life, Need for Speed and other popular games). So, crackers don't really want to spend their time with cracking it... That's the theory - there may be a no-CD patch somewhere, though...!
