What do you mean how?.. You just create your game and click the option enable bots.. pick how many.. pick their AI level and you're set.. They added the bots in one of the updates.. And upon a fresh install its gonna take a bit to dl all the stuff they've added.. Good game.. Just don't play it anymore..

Ah ok.. I get what you're saying now.. Solo mode.. I don't think you can do that. Since my last reformat I haven't even reinstalled steam so I can't try it right now.. Might try sorting through google.. Unless they've added support since last time I don't think its possible.. Maybe if you set it up for lan play?

Hmm, not actually possible with a legal copy. I know you can play without going online, but you still need Steam open. This one I can maybe slide. But this one sold me -

Sorry bud, but buy the game. I'm sorry if I am wrong, but it sounds fishy.

I think I understand what your saying. To answer your question, yes, you will be able to play offline against bots without needing an internet connection. You just first need to update everything in Steam you use to the absolute newest, and make sure it stores your login info. Then you can fire up Steam, it detects your offline, and then fires up the application browser, where you can startup CS:S.
